read DIONNE’S STORY:

‘Like most of the young dancers that I adjudicate, my journey with dance started in my beloved local studio when I started taking classes at just four years old. By 17, I was headed for full time dance training. It was during my second year that I attended my first audition for The Walt Disney Company, and upon graduating, I was offered my first contract with Tokyo Disney Resort. This was to be what was the start of an incredible professional journey with Disney. After two contracts with Tokyo, I then went on to secure contracts with Hong Kong Disneyland, and soon after, I was chosen to be an opening cast member for Shanghai Disney Resort. I then went on to perform with Disneyland Paris, which in total, meant that I was onstage for 6 years with the happiest place on earth.

Through out my years as a performer, I was fortunate enough to be a part of countless stage shows, theatre productions, parades, meet and greets, special events and media opportunities. It is here where I gained valuable experience in audition skills, public speaking, audience interaction, professional performance etiquette and so much more. This is why I believe I can make a difference as an adjudicator and deliver truely valuable advice and wisdom for young dancers hoping to be successful in their competitive dance journeys.

I look forward to bringing passion, encouragement, and positivity to the dance adjudication world and can’t wait to make a difference in the lives of young performers.’
